jwin7 live Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will kick off their 2025 Indian Premier League campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22 at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced the schedule for the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The opener will be held at the Eden Gardens on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The playoffs will be held from May 20 to May 25.

The tournament will conclude at the iconic Eden Gardens, with the second qualifier and final to be held in the city of Kolkata.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 23 in Hyderabad. Two of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will face off on the same day.

Each team will play 14 games in the league stage, for a total of 70 games. This season, 13 venues will host 74 games in 65 days.

CSK and MI will face each other twice in the 2025 IPL.
