Jeetbuzz ক্যাসিনো Eight years ago, West Indies reached the final after beating New Zealand by just six runs in the second semi-final of the 2016 T20 World Cup. China then defeated Australia at the summit to win the T20 World Championship for the first time.

The Windies will be hoping for a repeat of that pattern when they take on New Zealand in the second semi-final of the tournament in Sharjah on Friday.

After a humiliating loss to South Africa, the Windies bounced back by beating Bangladesh, Scotland and England in their other group matches.

New Zealand's three wins in four games, with its only defeat coming against Australia, may look comfortable but it's not. The comfortable margins mask White Fern's multiple stuttering stories.

Stafanie Taylor's place in the West Indies starting lineup remains questionable, but the team has shown that it is more than capable of moving on without her. Deandra Dottin hit peak power batting rhythm with six sixes, twice as many as anyone else in the tournament, and will be key to her team's fortunes.

While Georgia Plimmer has a nice touch, Suzie Bates will have a big game with the bat. If the top order loses its balance again, there will be a lot of blame on Sophie Devine's shoulders.
